Slo Food Bakery is a place where a team of incredibly talented bakers come together to carry on the European tradition of baking crusty, slow fermented easier to digest sourdough breads, shatteringly tasty croissants, wholesome cookies and muffins, as well as seasonal tarts and pies. Our bakery is powered by our commitment to supporting local stewards of the earth. We use locally and organically grown rye, spelt, bread, pastry and all purpose flours. And we sell them in the store! This helps support the farmers who have taken the risk to grow a product which helps keep our environment clean and our bodies healthy.
In our sister restaurants every slice of bread, every roll, every dessert and baked item is made by our bakers. That is a tall commitment, but one we welcome. We have been baking Stefano’s bread since 1994, and it’s gotten better every year. Three decades! So come on in and taste the tastes and smell the smells of another era, time slowed down once again; patience for good food. Turning back the clock while turning up the flavor is what Stefano’s Slo Food Bakery is all about.
