From Pasture to Plate: An Evening of Grass-Fed Beef
Wednesday, May 21 | 6:00–7:30 PM
$100 per person | Limited to 30 guests
Join us for a special evening spotlighting Morning Breeze Farms, a local farm committed to raising grass-fed cattle on open pasture without hormones or antibiotics. Their thoughtful, regenerative approach to farming ensures the highest quality beef - raised with respect for the animal and the land.
We’ll begin with a live butchery demonstration from Alex, our head butcher at Slo Food Market, using a steer sourced directly from Morning Breeze. Learn more about the cuts, the process, and the value of whole animal utilization that we use for our Market and restaurants.
Then, enjoy three seasonal beef preparations from Chef John of Trattoria Stefano:
-
Beef Slider
-
Beef Tartare
-
Braised Beef
One glass of wine will be paired with the dishes, additional available for purchase.
Guests will also take home marinated braised beef for two to cook and enjoy at home.
